ECS Imaging, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Jim Pappas, content management pioneer and Chief Executive Officer. Jim began the company with 2 employees and began selling hardware, such as scanners and servers. Given the low market penetration of imaging hardware and content management solutions at the time, Jim spent considerable time telling clients about the benefits of eliminating paper-based business processes.
In 1995 ECS became a Laserfiche Value Added Reseller (VAR) and has been a top performing VAR ever since. ECS offers comprehensive content management solutions, including Laserfiche enterprise content management software, scanning hardware, digital signature solutions, project management and consulting, in-house back-file scanning service, remote and on-site technical support and more.
ECS has experienced tremendous growth and now has two locations – corporate headquarters in Riverside and a Northern California branch office in Concord – to serve its growing client base across the United States.
