ECS welcomes Keith Beecher to the Technical Team. Keith has been in the IT industry over 26 years with extensive experience in business systems analysis, implementations, server and network security for both hardware and software applications. Most recently, he worked as an IT Business Relationship Manager for Riverside County and helped lead all technology needs for multiple departments including Human Resources, Clerk of the Board, Board of Supervisors, Purchasing, County Council and District Attorney. He administered and supervised their Laserfiche implementation in HR which has been in use since 1995.
Keith’s track record brings strategic planning, efficiencies, and ensures business continuity for ECS’s customers helping leverage the latest technologies. He also specializes in understanding the CA Trusted System requirements heavily sought after by our customers. His track record in working with all levels at the County provides our customers with a complete and consultative experience.
Overview of Surveys in Laserfiche Cloud
For Laserfiche Cloud Users, in Laserfiche Process Automation, Surveys let you collect and analyze data using forms, without having to configure a full-fledged business process.
> Access Survey by selecting Surveys from the Process Automation landing page.
> To create a new Survey, click New. Provide a name and click Create (Design your survey following the same principles as designing a form for a business process).
> Drag fields on to the survey and configure rules, overall appearance, and more.
> Click Publish when the survey is ready.
> Navigate to the Manage page, and select the checkbox next to the survey you just published.
> In the right pane, you can Enable the survey to allow general users to submit their surveys (Only administrators and developers can submit disabled surveys. You can also make the survey public or private. Private requires users to sign into Laserfiche to fill out the survey).
> In the Link section is the URL that will take users to the survey. You can edit the last portion of this link to make it more descriptive.
> Click Share to easily copy or email the link to the survey.
> Click the Notifications tab to receive web or email notifications when surveys are submitted.
> Click the Reports button to view submission data for the survey. Here you can view the survey results submitted over a specific time period, see survey answers in a variety of chart and graph formats, and review individual survey submissions.
You can also view survey reports and edit surveys directly from the Laserfiche Home page.

Laserfiche Empower 2022 Will Be Virtual
Laserfiche is excited to announce that the Laserfiche Empower Conference is going to be an entirely virtual event, scheduled for February 7-10, 2022! The online environment will provide you with engaging content, networking opportunities, discussions and experiences.
What Will Pricing Be Like?
There will be three pass types:
Essential Pass, free: Limited access to two days of the Empower digital experience, including keynotes, select content and networking. This pass also includes access to the EMEA and APAC regional broadcasts.
Power Pass, $149: Unlimited access to the full four-day Empower digital experience, including professional development workshops, technical workshops taught by the Laserfiche development team, on-demand courses and networking events.
Lab Training Pass, $699: These hands-on training sessions with expert Laserfiche trainers are the most popular sessions. Register for classes on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on which sessions fit your needs. Seats are extremely limited. Includes all access provided with the Power Pass.

Main highlights for this month’s release include:
Surveys on the home screen: Convenient access for citizen developers to design and monitor surveys from the Laserfiche home screen view.
Classic form conversion: Convert forms previously designed with the classic designer to the latest, more user-friendly form layout designer experience.

Now Available for Self-Hosted Customers
E-Signature Request Process Template with Built-In Adobe Sign Integration
Now released for Laserfiche self-hosted customers through the Business Process Library, leverage an e-signature process template including a built-in Adobe Sign integration step to automate the full signature request process. From the creator of PDFs, Adobe Sign has processed more than 8 billion transactions from millions of signers around the globe.
With this release you can:
- Go beyond internal approvals and automate e-signature requests from external parties.
- Maintain document integrity with Adobe Sign’s industry-standard security practices.
- Launch the provided workflows integrated with Adobe Sign from other workflows or processes without requiring coding effort.
This new Business Process Library template is called “External Signature with Adobe Sign” and is included for self-hosted customers who have Laserfiche Forms 10 and above. The template also requires Laserfiche Workflow. Laserfiche Cloud support is planned for a future release.

Laserfiche is excited to announce the launch of a new course: Using the Document Viewer. This eLearning course can be accessed in Aspire, at no cost. We recommend this course for those interested in learning more about the Laserfiche document viewer.
