Enthusiasm is Trending for Laserfiche Version 12!
Laserfiche 12 is an exciting release offering many new features for Self-Hosted Systems. This past quarter, the ECS Imaging Team has been busy applying their technical knowledge and passion for Laserfiche 12 providing successful updates to our customers. We have moved over a dozen systems to Version 12 and another two dozen in progress for the summer. We’ve successfully updated very large customers with multiple server environments, hundreds of forms and workflows, integrations and users. If you’re ready, please let us know and our dedicated project team will ensure a smooth process.

Laserfiche Licensing and Pricing Updates
Sunset for Laserfiche Avante, Rio, & United Extended to 12-31-2030
Existing Laserfiche Avante, Lasefiche Rio, and Laserfiche United customers can continue to renew, expand and upgrade their current implementations. Laserfiche will continue to support the product lines through December 31st, 2030.
Your Customer Success Consultant will provide the best options for moving to a Laserfiche Cloud or Laserfiche Self-Hosted Subscription platform. It’s easier than ever to move to Laserfiche Cloud or Azure Gov Cloud from your Laserfiche on-premises system. Hosting Laserfiche in the Azure Gov Cloud is a great option for many of our larger implementations and ECS will help get you there with our new managed cloud offering.
Laserfiche 5% Price Uplift for all Product Suites 10-1-25
Effective October 1, 2025, all product suites, Laserfiche Self-hosted Subscription, Laserfiche Cloud, Laserfiche Team, Laserfiche United, Laserfiche Avante, and Laserfiche Rio and the Municipal Site packages will see a 5% uplift in software and support prices. This applies to expansion orders and renewals.
Option For Multi-Year Contracts
Customers on a multi-year contract term will not be affected by the 2025 adjustments. Laserfiche offers a 3-year term with a maximum and guaranteed 3% year-over-year increase for renewals. Securing a multi-year term now can help lock in cost stability while continuing to benefit from ongoing innovations. Contact your ECS Customer Success Consultant to explore if securing a multi-year contract is a good fit.
NEW Laserfiche Cloud AI Packaging
Laserfiche Smart Fields and Smart Chat are included with Cloud Professional Tier and Cloud Business Tier with the ability to add additional usage. In addition to Document Summarization, these new features are already available in your Cloud system to use today. Here’s a quick look at what you get with each tier:
▪ Professional Tier – 1,000 extractions/year
▪ Business Tier – 10,000 extractions/year
▪ NEW Business Tier – 50,000 extractions/year
▪ AI usage Add-on – 50,000/100,000
Smart Chat > and Document Summarization >
▪ Professional Tier – 5,000 requests/year
▪ Business Tier – 15,000 requests/year
▪ NEW Business Tier – 15,000 requests/year
▪ AI usage Add-on – 15,000
Existing Business Tier customers can continue to renew and expand their system but will need to convert to the NEW Business Tier to take advantage of additional AI usage add-ons. AI features are not available with Cloud Starter Tier.
