ECS Imaging’s 23rd Annual Conference Highlights
Our Annual Conferences were held in Southern and Northern CA serving more than 200 clients with a full day of learning, networking, and consulting opportunities. We provided an overview of the Laserfiche Cloud journey, automated forms, an integrations showcase, as well as Laserfiche AI, new features, and version 12 updates. We also highlighted several solutions that are available to you since we joined forces with MCCi.
At the Southern CA. Conference, the City of Los Alamitos shared the latest chapter in their successful journey and how Laserfiche has improved the warrant request process. The city was able to digitize all permanent building files, free up storage and streamline operations for the Police Dept. and launch Public Portal to provide transparency and self-service to the public.
At the Northern CA Conference, the City of Burlingame discussed their success, beginning with their implementation of Laserfiche through city-wide usage. They have been able to streamline Public Records Requests, Business License requests, as well as Tree and Parking Permit requests. The next adventure for Burlingame is moving to Laserfiche Cloud and utilizing AI.

What’s New in Laserfiche Cloud
More Conditional Starting Events – Cloud Business Tier Users can now create even more powerful and complex workflows with 50 Conditional Starting Events, the previous limit was 25. But if you need more, please contact your Success Consultant to request additional starting events, Debbi, Laura, Pete, and Josh.
Direct Database Connections now available – Pull data in real-time from third party applications and any external database for use in Laserfiche forms, workflows and business processes.
End-of-Life for Laserfiche Smart Invoice Capture
Laserfiche Smart Invoice Capture – Laserfiche has announced End-of-Life for the Smart Invoice Capture product as of December 31, 2025. Laserfiche will end Cloud services and technical support for the Smart Invoice Capture product on December 31, 2026.
Earlier this year, Laserfiche launched Smart Fields that introduced AI technology for extracting much of the same data currently processed with Smart Invoice Capture. And since Smart Fields is not limited to invoices, it can extract virtually any piece of information and can also perform other actions such as translation.
Please contact your Success Consultant to investigate alternative options. You may be able to request credit for other products such as additional Smart Fields usage.
