Laserfiche Forms Provides Essential Self-Service Portal for Local Businesses during Pandemic

During this unprecedented time, with social distancing, stay at home orders, and government offices closed to the public due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the City of Aliso Viejo found it essential to provide a self-service portal that allows local businesses to submit information to the City. With Laserfiche Forms, the local businesses can submit information about their business needs and operations to the City that may be vital during the Pandemic. By completing and submitting online forms, local businesses can submit information about their businesses to the City without having to go to City Hall.

ECS installed Laserfiche at the City in 2002, and we are delighted with the digital transformation success the City has achieved since implementing Laserfiche. A shining ray of light in a tough storm for many during this difficult time.

The City of Aliso Viejo recently moved to a Laserfiche Cloud System putting them in a position to offer services in an efficient and on demand way. Kudos to the City for being prepared for emergencies and poised to use the technology they invested in with Laserfiche Cloud.

The City was in need of a Community Outreach Form to allow local businesses to submit more information about their needs and services during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Since ECS Imaging is well-prepared to support our customer’s needs during the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were able to gather the information and requirements necessary to create 2 Forms that the City desperately needed. The requirements were collected and Forms were built in one business day.

One Form (shown below) allows local businesses to submit information the City may need to know about their operational status, hours of operation, contact information, and any special services they offer as a result of the Pandemic. City staff can then contact these businesses to get additional information if needed.

The second Form ECS created for the City was an internal Form for staff to follow-up with local businesses and gather more information about their business needs and what resources and/or services those businesses may be offering during the Pandemic.
