October 19, 2021 – Customer Experiences & Industry Insights
Join us to see how Laserfiche is implemented from a panel of Customers ranging from a 25 year implementation to a newbie this year. October 20, 2021 – Laserfiche Client 101 Training
Learn best practices for the Laserfiche Client including Searching, Annotations, Email, Direct Share, and folder structure. Discover the capture methods available with Laserfiche: Import Agent, Connector, Quick Fields, Workflow, Invoice Capture, and Digital Signature Capture.
October 21, 2021 – Laserfiche Forms Training
Learn how to build Forms using the Laserfiche Library (BPL), and the features available with the Easy Designer and the Advanced Designer.

He is adept at anticipating customer needs and creating customized business solutions. Josh holds a degree in Biochemistry from UC Santa Barbara.

Paper, paper, and more paper! Where is that document? Is the document in the file cabinet? Maybe it’s in the Quality Assurance office, or is it sitting on the Admin Assistant’s desk? Sound familiar? Before Laserfiche was implemented, locating needed documents was challenging.

Email Notifications in Laserfiche Forms
Laserfiche Forms can be configured to send email notifications to alert users when they have tasks to complete, or there are other updates to the process. When a task is assigned to a user you can configure an automatic notification email that lets them know a form has been submitted and is waiting for them to take action.
- To add a notification in Laserfiche Forms, navigate to the Design tab, double click the user task in the Process Diagram
- Under Assignment Options, select Email users when this task is assigned
- Modify the subject of the email as desired
- Under Attachment, you can use variable to attach files that were uploaded to a form. Additionally, you can select Attach form and choose to attach a PDF copy of the form as it is currently assigned, as it was at a previous step in the process, or as it would be populated with current process data.
- By default, the body of the email contains a link to the task, Click Done
- When the user task runs, the person the task is assigned to will receive this email.
- The email service task also lets you configure an automatic email notification
- Double click this task to configure it to send an email to any email address
By using the user task in the email service task, you can automate communication in your processes, keeping everyone in the loop and ensuring everyone gets the information they need.
LASERFICHE NEWS & EVENTS
The Conference is going to be an entirely virtual event, scheduled for February 7-10, 2022! The online environment will provide all users with engaging content, networking opportunities, discussions and experiences.

Essential Pass, free For Everyone: Limited access to two days of the Empower digital experience, including keynotes, select content and networking. This pass also includes access to the EMEA and APAC regional broadcasts.
Power Pass, $149: Unlimited access to the full four-day Empower digital experience, including professional development workshops, technical workshops taught by the Laserfiche development team, on-demand courses and networking events. If attending ECS’ Annual Conference in October you will get this complimentary.
Lab Training Pass, $699: These hands-on training sessions with expert Laserfiche trainers are the most popular sessions. Register for classes on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on which sessions fit your needs. Seats are extremely limited. Includes all access provided with the Power Pass.

Webinar: Bridging the Generation Gap:
Communication and Collaborating in a Multigenerational Workforce
Most workplaces today are a mix of five distinct generations – Traditionalists or the Silent Generation (born 1928-1945), Baby Boomers (born 1946-1965), Generation X (born 1966-1980), Millennials (born 1981-1997) and Gen Z (born 1998 or later). Each generation brings its own particular strengths – and unique quirks – to the team.
In this session, learn the ins and outs of bridging generation gaps, including understanding communication and technology preferences. You’ll leave with a toolkit of proven communication tools and techniques to unite employees of differing generations.
