Registration is Open for ECS Imaging’s 21st Annual Conference
The ECS Imaging 21st Annual Conference is now open for registration and we are excited to provide two full days of Laserfiche training in both Southern CA and Northern CA. You can register for just the General Session, just the Technical Session, or both Days for a truly comprehensive training experience provided by the ECS Team. The Training event runs from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM both days and is complimentary for ECS Customers.

Free Laserfiche User Training at Val Verde USD
Val Verde USD in Perris, CA and ECS Imaging have collaborated to offer the Laserfiche community at large this free training opportunity. VVUSD has graciously opened up their on-site training room and ECS will be hosting the trainings for any ECS Customer who would like to attend!
Laserfiche 101 User Training will be held on Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with the following dates available now for registration:

Town of Yountville
Yountville Sun’s Past Issues Now Online
ECS Imaging Inc. of Riverside received back issues of the Sun that Michelle Dahme, a former Yountville town clerk, had stored in half a dozen “banker’s boxes” of heavy cardboard, according to Gaede. A scanner captured images of printed pages, and optical character recognition software converted printed words into electronic text that can be searched on a computer or smartphone. Scanning and conversion took six months and was completed in June, according to Gaede. Yountville’s web page hosting the Sun archive went live July 20.

Web Request Rules – The Web Service Connections used by web request rules now support the industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocol. This enhancement enables greater and more secure access to 3rd party applications and APIs from Laserfiche while making it simpler to design. Additionally, custom headers can now be added directly to the Web Service Connections definition for improved security and management of your request data from connected Web Request Rules.
Laserfiche App – Biometric support for signing into Laserfiche Cloud has been updated to include Azure AD and AD FS. You can use Face ID (for iOS) or fingerprint scanning (for iOS and Android) to securely remember user sign-in information when authenticating through Azure AD, AD FS, or with a Laserfiche username and password.
Smart Invoice Capture – Smart Invoice Capture now automates the extraction of four additional fields from invoices: the shipping address, subtotal, tax amount, and tax ID. This will increase your ability to drive Accounts Payable processing based on this metadata without having to configure manual zones.
SELF HOSTED UPDATES
Advanced Audit for Forms – Laserfiche Forms is now included in Advanced Auditing, adding support for auditing administrative actions in forms and auditing failed attempts to modify business processes due to insufficient permissions. Update both Laserfiche Forms and Audit Trail to access this new functionality. (Requires the Advanced Audit add-on.)
Business Processes and Layout Designer – Better control your uploaded files and action history with new business process activity options, and enjoy layout designer updates including field rule enhancements, pagination, and support for adding CSS classes.
Repository Import Migration Monitoring – Select Solution Providers can now access a Repository Import Monitor site, allowing them to monitor the migration process for customers that are migrating repository data from self-hosted Laserfiche to Laserfiche Cloud. To view the site, select Repository Import Monitor from the app picker or the Overview page.
SOLUTION MARKETPLACE UPDATES
New Solution Templates – Over 20 new solutions were posted this month to the Laserfiche Solution Marketplace! Leverage Google Translate to make forms more accessible in a Preschool Application Process from Linn-Benton Community College or leverage Monday.com or AgilePlace integrations in a Department Request Process. Check out several new process from DocuNav that span a variety of departments and industries. Improve your Forms customization skills with CSS/JavaScript/Formula examples, use the Box Retrieval Request from the City of Thousand Oaks or encourage employee feedback with a Bright Ideas form.

This eLearning course can be accessed in Aspire, at no cost.
Course Description: In this course you will learn all about metadata and how to create and configure it for your repository. This course is based on Laserfiche Cloud and the content also applies to Laserfiche 11.
