Laserfiche Automation at the Crossroads of Convenience and Efficiency
Long known as the crossroads of the San Francisco Bay Area, the City of Dublin, CA is in Alameda County at the point where two major highways intersect: Interstates 580 and 680. The City got its name because of the large number of Irish who lived there, the name was officially accepted in 1890. The City has been an ECS customer for almost 20 years starting with a legacy version in 2004. In 2020, the City Council adopted a two-year strategic plan including a strategic initiative to become a 24/7 City Hall to enhance resident and business engagement.

2024 Important Budgeting Notice
In preparation for next year, Laserfiche has announced starting July 1, 2024 there will be a 5% increase to all modules and user licenses on Perpetual and Site packages. This uplift applies to:
▪ Laserfiche Teams and United LSSP
▪ Laserfiche Rio and Avante software and LSSP
▪ Municipal Site packages (Cloud and Self-Hosted Subscription)
These adjustments are being imposed by Laserfiche and will help support the continued investment and feature updates to the self-hosted and cloud offerings.. It has not been announced to the public yet officially, but we are trying to provide you, our valued customers, a heads up in the meantime. Our Customer Success Team will be in touch soon to consult on the best options and added value available for your organization.

Looking for Testers for Updates to the Laserfiche Certification Program
The Laserfiche Aspire Team is working on exciting updates to the Laserfiche Certification Program that will separate free Certification content from the cost-associated assessments, providing users with more autonomy to learn without needing to purchase any training up front. What’s New in Laserfiche Cloud
New Process Automation Capabilities – Sub fields within a form address field can now be customized and Email Service Tasks can now send an email to each member of an entire team at once. In Workflow, the Search Repository activity can now search for documents with a specific tag and the Set Records Management Properties activity can now automate the uncutoff action on records. When configuring a lookup query rule, you can now configure the maximum number of rows to return.
Process Design Usability Enhancements – When editing a form or business process, you can now use the Manage rules link to go directly to the rules management page. In addition, when editing forms with a large number of fields, you can now search for fields by field name, variable, name, or field ID. Lastly, it’s now easier to monitor workflows with new tooltips and it’s easier to see the total number of selected list items.
Form Scripting Updates – Designers can now bind to HTML events within custom HTML fields to run functions in the layout designer JavaScript sandbox. In addition, the LFForm object can now update more field settings such as address subfields, submission action buttons, pagination titles, previous and next buttons, signature and file upload button labels, and table column field settings.
API Updates – The Repository Cloud API version 2 release brings new functionalities such as large file upload, standardized long operation APIs, and many developer ergonomics improvements. A corresponding JavaScript API client library has also been released to make it easier to integrate with the Laserfiche repository.
What’s New in Laserfiche Self-Hosted
Unified Auditing – Improve your audit trail compliance when collecting sensitive data with a Laserfiche Form with new administrative actions such as who accessed or modified processes and form modifications.
Troubleshooting Laserfiche Forms – New features improve troubleshooting capabilities to quickly resolve issues, even when the process is currently in-progress. Administers have more control over variables and the ability to easily filter to identify problem instances and centrally manage repository profiles.
Forms Layout Designer – Transform the look and functionality of your forms with automatic responsiveness for a better mobile experience, new targets for advanced scripting that opens a myriad of options, easier handling for large sets of data and more.

Course Description: In this course, you will learn about advanced Workflow activities using logic and conditions to improve a city government business process. This course is available for Cloud and Laserfiche 11 Self-Hosted. This eLearning course can be accessed in Aspire, at no cost.
