Shanna Kuhlemier – Business Analyst
Shanna comes to ECS with an extensive background in government processes performing and overseeing a variety of complex, confidential, analytical, and highly responsible administrative work. She has over 20 years experience as a municipal clerk. She worked as a Records Technician and District Clerk as an ECS customer with the Town of Truckee and Truckee Donner PUD. Shanna will provide valuable experience as a Business Analyst for the ECS Project Team. Her unique insights and customer perspective over the last 20 years will provide successful projects to the ECS customers she will serve.

New Certification Series Available: Repository Security
Laserfiche has just announces the launch of a new certification series: Repository Security. You can access the Recommended Training for this series in Aspire for FREE and can purchase the cost-associated Certification Assessment separately for $150.
Certification Description: This certification is a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with essential skills and knowledge to manage and secure repository environments effectively. This certification includes key courses that lay a strong foundation in repository security principles and best practices, ensuring your users have appropriate permissions based on their roles. By completing this certification, you will be well-prepared to implement robust security measures and safeguard your organization’s data. This series is based on Laserfiche Cloud and the content also applies to Laserfiche 11.
Certification Objectives: By the end of this series, you will be able to:
▪ Identify the different repository security concepts, such as groups, inheritance, and scope
▪ Summarize the differences between feature rights and privileges, identify their functionality, and administer them to users and groups
▪ Describe what entry access rights are and how they interact with other rights, administer entry access rights for users and groups, and identify and apply the principles of scope
▪ Determine the applicable security report to use depending on your use case, integrate field and template access rights according to your needs, summarize how security tags work and implement security tags as needed

New Course Available: Activating and Renewing Licenses
Laserfiche has announced the launch of a new course: Activating and Renewing Licenses. This eLearning course can be accessed in Aspire, at no cost.
Course Description: This course will cover how to activate a primary license as well as activate and register individual applications.
Course Objectives: By the end of this course, you will be able to:
▪ Define different license types and their uses
▪ Explain how to activate licenses and register applications
▪ Identify renewal options for expired licenses
