Laserfiche Integration Methods with OneSpan
ECS Imaging Integration with Laserfiche and OneSpan E-Signature
OneSpan is a trusted 3rd party e-signing platform for agreements and transactions. As a global leader in digital transaction signing, ECS partnered with them to streamline and automate digital signing end to end. There are a few different ways to initiate the signing process and have the executed signed document automatically saved to Laserfiche.
1. Initiate the process from Laserfiche Web Client manually
Licensed users (Full or Participant) can access the OneSpan integration through the Laserfiche Web Client. The User can create a transaction by opening the OneSpan integration window within WebClient or by right clicking a document in the repository and clicking on “Send with OneSpan.”

2. Initiate the process via Laserfiche Workflow, Form or ECS Web Service
Laserfiche Workflow can be configured to send the document to OneSpan through the custom workflow activities or through API calls. This automated method provides additional options:
- The Document could be uploaded or created through a Forms Process and then Workflow handles the sending to OneSpan.
- The Document could reside outside of Laserfiche on a network or within the Laserfiche repository.
- A user could move a document to a folder in Laserfiche and add a Tag or other metadata to trigger the sending to OneSpan.
3. Initiate the process from within OneSpan
Non-licensed users can initiate the process from OneSpan as follows:
a. Log into OneSpan Sign and on the Transactions tab, click on the New Transaction button:

b. Complete the information to create the transaction.

Once all signers have signed, the transaction is completed, and the executed documents are automatically saved to a designated folder in Laserfiche.
Please Note
- Laserfiche Cloud customers must have an external web server, a cloud-hosted web app service, or a cloud-hosted server.
