What’s New in Laserfiche Cloud
Lookup Table Updates – Customers who use Laserfiche to manage thousands of product SKU’s and parts lists, medical billing codes, historical customer data points and more are now able to store and leverage even larger Enterprise-level data sets with increased lookup table limits. Now take advantage of real-time data lookups across millions of data points for use in forms and workflows, and gain further ability for your organization to support tens of thousands of customers. This enhancement increases not just the number of rows, but the number of lookup tables as well. Limits will be increased automatically according to your license tier, with Professional starting at 20,000 rows and Business starting at 50,000 rows. Additional add-ons up to 100,000 rows are available for purchase.
Professional Tier will automatically increase to 100 Tables and 20K Rows
Business Tier will automatically increase to 150 Tables and 50K Rows
Customers can purchase beyond those limits if needed:
– Up to 150 Tables and 50K Rows (Professional Tier)
– Up to 200 Tables and 100K Rows (Professional & Business Tiers)
Form Designer Updates – Designers can now configure field rules to run based on where the form is in a process. For example, you can configure specific fields to be shown only when the form is saved to the repository, which allows you to have more control over what is seen when viewing the form. This continues our ongoing enhancement of removing the need to script common scenarios.
You now have more control over how forms are saved to the repository. For multi-page forms, a new option creates corresponding page breaks in the forms when they are saved as PDFs.
Direct Share One-Time Passcode – Direct Share has streamlined security by allowing you to automatically generate a one-time passcode for content recipients, instead of having to create and share a password with them manually. The use of an integrated one-time passcode makes sharing content both more secure and easier, as the sender no longer has to additionally communicate password information to the recipient. Instead, it’s all built-in directly at the time of accessing the shared content. You may also combine this one-time passcode with a manually generated password for a true multi-factor authentication (or MFA) experience where needed.
SharePoint Online Integration Updates – Take advantage of Laserfiche’s inherent security and records management functionality with a new Laserfiche SharePoint Online Integration. The integration provides common repository management capabilities for Laserfiche Cloud users right within SharePoint Online. Our integration allows you to browse your Laserfiche repository, view documents, and save documents to Laserfiche with configurable metadata mapping directly from SharePoint Online. Easily add this new integration to your SharePoint Online site from the Microsoft Marketplace.
Solution Templates – The City of Salem published a new solution template that allows for constituents and visitors to the city to report instances of acts of discrimination.
What’s New in Laserfiche Self-Hosted
Forms Design & Testing – New Forms features to make it easier and faster to build, customize and test for Forms. Significant improvements for saving to the repository such as accessing entry ID of saved forms and attachments. Preview Forms at various stages. Use pagination to make tables and collections easier to read through and search on. Mask single line fields. Additional support for layout designer scripting – including objects like submission action buttons, pagination titles, next button, etc. – that can be used for things like translating the entire page
DMZ – New tool to simplify steps for deploying Forms in the DMZ securely. Lightweight GUI based utility. Automatically configure both the internal and DMZ Forms instances. Reduces need for manual configuration
Convenient biometrics (Touch ID, Face ID) log-in support for mobile devices.
New features with advanced auditing
